Starting with the year 1961, the year when the brand SORTILEMN SA was created, we developed a passion and a mission to offer wood of the highest quality. Ranging from natural elements such as plywood and veneer, and later on furniture, we made sure that every need of the market and the people is met appropriately. Having a receptivity and a vision towards opportunities not yet discovered, step by step and piece by piece of wood we managed to make our presence seen, heard and felt, both on the national and international market. Together we built a company, together we built a future.

History

1961 – the SORTILEMN SA brand is created

1970 – the production unit for solid wood furniture is formed

1980 – the press unit is officially opened

1983 – a match factory is added to the company

1991 – the company is privatized

1999 – the current owners of the brand take charge of the company

2007 – the Timber Factory is created

2009 – the production unit for small series products is created

2012 The High Efficiency Cogeneration Plant is being built

  – a Cloth Hanger Factory is established
